Das Projekt Reuse-LCA zielt darauf ab, das Potenzial zur Verringerung der Umweltauswirkungen (graue Energie, Treibhausgasemissionen) durch die Wiederverwendung von Materialien in Gebäuden zu analysieren. Mehrere Pilotgebäude in verschiedenen Regionen der Schweiz (Neubau oder energetische
Sanierung) werden detailliert analysiert und ermöglichen es, zusammen mit den finanziellen Kosten das Potenzial zur Verringerung der Auswirkungen durch Wiederverwendung oder durch kombinierte Strategien (z.B. Verwendung biobasierter Materialien), die die Wiederverwendung integrieren, zu diskutieren.

The main focus of the Reuse-LCA project is to analyze the potential environmental gains (non-renewable energy and GHG emissions)that the reuse of materials entails, in buildings. Several design alternatives of pilot buildings (new constructions and energyrelated refurbishments) situated in different regions in Switzerland are studied in detail. Thus, along with the financial costs of the reuse, the potential environmental gains of reuse, combined with other low-carbon strategies are, also, evaluated.

Le projet Reuse-LCA vise à analyser le potentiel de réduction des impacts environnementaux (énergie grise, émissions de gaz à effet de serre) lié au réemploi des matériaux dans les bâtiments. Plusieurs bâtiments pilotes dans différents régions de Suisse (nouvelle construction ou assainissement énergétique) sont analysées en détail et permettent de discuter, avec les coûts financiers, les potentiels de réduction d’impacts grâce au réemploi ou à des stratégies combinées intégrant le réemploi.
