Zink kann Antibiotikumresistenzen co-selektionieren. In vielen Ländern wird 2500ppm Zn-Oxid bei Darmerkrankungen empfohlen. Der Einfluss neuer Zinkformulierungen auf Darmgesundheit, Leistung, Behandlungshäufigkeit, Mikrobiom, Emission und Entwicklung von Antibiotikaresistenzen soll geprüft werden.
