Short description (English)

The report is an outcome of individual and collective reflections on the learning from engaging in Home Garden Project (HGP) activities over a period of sixteen years (2002 to 2018). Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) commissioned the Capitalization of Experiences (CapEx) exercise towards the end of the fourth and final phase to document lessons learnt for capitalization. The purpose of the project was to increase the diversity and sustainable on-farm management of plant genetic resources to improve the livelihoods of the resource poor farmers.
