Die Photovoltaikindustrie orientiert sich immer mehr an zwei parallelen Zielen. Das erste betrifft die Sicht der Energieversorger auf PV-Großanlagen, die zweite die Integration der PV-Erzeugung in den Bausektor (BIPV): Für beide Ziele ist eine genaue Bewertung ihrer Leistung und Sicherheit durch die Entwicklung neuer internationaler Standards erforderlich. In diesem Rahmen soll das Projekt neue Charakterisierungstechniken erproben, den Messprozess automatisieren und die Kompetenzen der Forscher des SUPSI PVLab auf der Höhe des anderen internationalen Instituten behalten.

Short description (English)

The photovoltaic Industry is more and more focused on two parallel targets. The first one embraces the utilities’ point of view on large scale PV plants, the second is about the integration of the PV generation in construction sector (BIPV): for both of the targets there is a need for precise evaluation of their performances and safety, through the development of new international standards. In this framework, the project aims to experiment new characterization techniques, to automate the measurement process and to keep the competences of the researchers of the SUPSI PVLab aligned with the other international institutes.
