The goal of the project is to demonstrate that the immunostimulating ACB-betacarboline molecules be used to overcome parasite-elicited immune subversion to treat Leishmaniasis in experimental models either alone or combined with anti-leishmanials or anti-PD1 checkpoint inhibitors.
