Significant unmet medical needs remain for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).\nThe suggested project will allow testing AX-8, an agonist of the poorly explored target TRPM8, as a potential IBD therapy, which could benefit patients by ameliorating both inflammation and pain symptoms.
