Abstract (Deutsch)

The mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) is deregulated in multiple diseases. We aim to generate a lead compound that specifically inhibits mTORC1 by targeting substrate recruitment. We expect such a compound to be superior to current drugs for treating tuberous sclerosis complex.
