|
The objective of the review was to review and capitalize experience and results achieved under the current strategy (2008-2013), contribute to IHI‘s own evaluation and preparation of the next strategic plan (2013-2018), and bring elements for SDC‘s decision on the continuation and form of its future support to IHI. For the new phase it was recommended that IHI would concentrate on financial sustainability, by building on existing competences and opportunities and by considering partnerships, joint ventures, and vertical integration. Furthermore it was recommended that IHI would have to build strategic options from major findings of this evaluation and feed into strategic planning.
