Short description
(German)
This study aims at investigating the Swiss mosquito fauna by expanding the investigations reported by the above-mentioned pilot study, focusing on the spatio-temporal diversity of the mosquito fauna at eight locations distributed throughout the country as determined by repeated sampling over two years. As a result, we gain an overview on the Swiss mosquito fauna at country scale, which might serve as a baseline for the assessment of risk hazards (for human or animal health, biodiversity) posed by mosquito species.
