After the reorganization of the SDC the various existing backstopping mandates of the former thematic division had to be examined and targeted to the new needs. This external evaluation of the long lasting partnership between the SDC and the CDE provided the basis for the focusing of this mandate to SDC’s new Global Programme Food Security.
