Phase I of FARMS project was implemented from May 2011 to October 2013. The major areas of interventions included livestock sub-sector market systems development, particularly on areas of animal health, animal nutrition, access to markets and disaster risk reduction. SDC mandated an external review of FARMS in February 2013. The FARMS review had the objectives to: 1) Assess relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of the project, its approaches and activities, and 2) Provide suggestions for a 2nd and final phase of the project.
