The study, prepared by ICMPD and its partner, the European Centre for Development Policy Management, and commissioned by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, was launched at the GFMD thematic meeting on development issues in Geneva. It provides valuable input for continued policy discussions at the European level and beyond and assists states in identifying future directions and common ground for addressing the inherent development potential of migration in the global, regional and national migration and development debates.
