Abstract (Deutsch)

An innovative cold chain will be developed to transport tree-ripe mangoes from South America to Switzerland in refrigerated containers on ships instead of via airfreight. This will reduce carbon dioxide emissions and transport cost of the Swiss mango import, and thereby also the cost per fruit.
