Development of an industrial process for spalted wood in high value furniture applications

Abstract (German)

Objective of the project is to develop an industrial process for spalted wood by using the soft rot fungus Kretzschmaria deusta. Inoculation of dry wood with a specifically developed method will facilitate standardisation and optimisation of a simple and low-cost process.
