Abstract

The goal of the outlined R&D project is to develop and implement a novel method to further the scope of powder coating systems with regard to their applicability in conjunction with heat sensitive substrates. The overall aim is to lower the polymer curing temperature via the employment of a unique catalytic approach. It is expected that the proposed advancement will directly translate into higher productivities in industrial coating lines as well as energy savings.
