Many retinal diseases such as Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) or diabetic retinopathy (DR) are lifelong conditions that require careful disease monitoring in the form of monthly Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans and regular treatment. Yet automated, precise and fast quantification of disease progression has long been desired but unavailable to ophthalmologists in need of more effective ways and treat such conditions. Together, both partners aim to fill this need with a new product.
