T-2017-01 Multi-sensor wireless system for monitoring concentrations of drugs in organs

Abstract (German)

Preclinical studies of new drugs require measurements of concentrations in different organs. SPECT/CT imaging gives necessary information but the technique is costly and bulky. Partners join their expertise to develop a system of several miniature wireless probes that measure real-time concentrations of radiolabelled drugs in organs of anaesthetised rodents following drug injection. The system is intended for pharmaceutical companies to facilitate the preclinical phase of development.
