DESIGNPV: Development of an innovative web-based tool for the design, optimization and simulation of photovoltaic systems in the built environment
Abstract
(Deutsch)
The project aims developing new mathematical models and algorithms to improve the accuracy and the usability in photovoltaic simulation: novel modelling of high resolution (cell level) irradiance on PV modules accurate algorithms to simulate their performance in complex scenarios according to shadings algorithms to optimize PV plant design and maximize energy output innovative mathematical modelling for emerging PV technologies such as bifacial and BIPV.
