ACTIWISE - Activity monitoring watch for sport and wellness with personnalized and auto-adaptative measurement and feedback.

Abstract (German)

The project goal is to develop a wristwatch to continuously monitor the user daily physical activity and give a personalized feedback to the user with information such as walking or running speed and distance, energy expenditure, sedentary index and entropy of the movement. To deliver high accuracy while keeping a simple user interface, the watch will automatically adapt to the user profile. The watch should have very low power consumption, with an autonomy of one year using a primary cell battery.
