An innovative technology for improving human anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction has been developed, patented, and tested in preclinical studies (mechanical testing, animal testing, and operative simulation). The submitted CTI project proposal seeks support for first-in-man testing of this novel concept, within a single center clinical trial at the University Hospital Balgrist.
