Abstract (German)

The 3DCity project aims to build innovative tools and services for 3D data acquisition and visualization of underground infrastructure networks, like water pipes and electricity lines. We will make full use of the most advanced holographic computer in the world - i.e. Microsoft HoloLens - in order to reduce surveying time and improve surveying accuracy of newly installed underground networks, and provide an augmented reality visualization of the existing entrenched networks.
