Abstract
(German)
Selective endocannabinoid reuptake inhibitors (SERIs) are new chemical entities that modulate the endocannabinoid system with a potentially more effective and safer pharmacological profile as compared to other cannabinoid drugs. Preliminary analytical and behavioral pharmacology experiments indicate that SERIs are active in the central nervous system. The aim of this project relates to the identification of the best drug candidate(s) for clinical development and selection of the most suitable target indication(s) among neuropsychiatric disorders.
