Abstract (Deutsch)

Within the CTI Project No. 16856.1 PFLS-LS we successfully implemented a human in vitro model containing functional hepatocytes, Kupffer and stellate cells for the investigation of liver fibrosis. In this follow-up project, we aim at validating the model with additional pro-fibrotic and antifibrotic stimuli. We will also assess the suitablity of the system for the investigation of NASH and its relationship with fibrosis. In addition, we will implement shipping tests for the product.
