Abstract (Deutsch)

The main objective of the project is to develop an adaptive system to actively control the clothing microclimate based on newly developed algorithms for individual wearing comfort. The system integrates three components: a component to quickly and actively remove excess moisture from the garment based on the electro osmotic technology; a heating textile to actively heat clothing microclimate; and sensors that are integrated in the base layer of the garment system in order to monitor the clothing microclimate and the human body comfort status.
