Abstract (German)	The objective is to develop a process combining inorganic layers with Parylene in view of advanced ultrahigh diffusion barrier coatings. The benefits of Parylene are well demonstrated, due to both material properties and to the vaccum process (low thickness, conformal coating). New applications motivated by miniaturization in various industries will be possible based on this new encapsulation process with enhanced barrier properties.
