AMTI: Additive Manufacturing of Ti based alloy for aerospace application

Abstract (German)

As a young industry founded in 2012 and active in Additive Manufacturing by Selective Laser Melting, ProtoShape must constantly acquire new niche markets. The goal of project is to develop the chain process for Ti-6Al-4V alloy for the aerospace market. CSEM and ProtoShape with help of BHF will develop a demonstrator made by Ti-6Al-4V. This will help ProtoShape to open a new market for its production.
