Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
The NanoProteoZyme project aims to develop novel nanotechnology-based formulations of protease enzymes for use in bioanalytics. The newly produced nanobiocatalysts shall display an enhanced resistance to chaotropic conditions, which are typically needed for the use of proteases in bioanalysis. When equipped with a magnetic core, the nanoparticles shall be straightforwardly separated from the reaction medium thus avoiding contamination issues. The enzyme formulation strategy is also expected to fully suppress autolysis reactions resulting in more reliable and reproducible enzymatic digestion assays.
