Innovative temperature swing adsorption processes for post-combustion CO2 separation in chemical plants
Abstract
(German)
With the ultimate goal of advancing methanol and urea production beyond state-of-the-art, this project aims at developing advanced adsorption-based processes for CO2 separation. Particularly, CO2 recovery from flue gases will be considered. Fundamentals of multicomponent adsorption will be further studied, whereas new process design possibilities will be investigated. Process definition, modelling and optimization will be complemented with experimental activity.
