High performance magnetic composites for attachment systems in sports devices

Abstract (Deutsch)

This project aims to develop and optimise hard and flexible magnetic composites for innovative attachment systems in sports devices. Magnetic attachment offers the possibility of fast, easy, durable (zero wear) attachment not influenced by environmental features like dirt, humidity, sun-light etc. However, to be competitive in sports equipment, new high performance composites are required, where holding power, weight ratios and magnetizing patterns have been optimized.
