Viele parenteral verabreichte Biologica erfordern aus therapeutischen Gründen eine kontinuierliche Infusion der Arzneilösung über einen längeren Zeitraum hinweg. In der Regel werden zu diesem Zweck miniaturisierte Pumpensysteme eingesetzt. Dieses Projekt dient der Entwicklung einer Präzisionsdosierpumpe zur Förderung und Verabreichung von Biologica, die empfindlich auf chemische oder physikalische Belastungen reagieren.
