NEUROMAN: Functionalized Anatomical Models for Studying EM-Neuronal Dynamic Interactions
Short description
(English)
Abstract
(German)
NEUROMAN will create the first human (m/f) and monkey computational phantoms for studying the interactions of neurons and electromagnetic fields considering anatomical and physiological phenomena. The models will include detailed nerve geometry with neuronal electrophysiology coupled to a low frequency electromagnetic field solver. NEUROMAN will impact neuro- and electroceuticals research globally, provide visibility to IT#IS/ETH and open new emerging markets (neuro-medical and wireless power transfer devices) for our implementation partner ZMT.
