Project without implementation partner: Production of tight capsules with thin shells
Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
Capsules are used to protect substances from degradation and unwanted chemical reactions and to facilitate dispersion of poorly soluble materials. We propose to develop mechanically robust capsules with very thin shells that are tight during storage and rupture if subjected to a stimulus such as mechanical shear, or changes in the composition of the surrounding medium. Once capsules rupture, they decompose into small fragments to leave minimal traces in the final product.
