Eine kürzlich im Zuge einer KTI-Machbarkeitstudie entstandene numerische Simulationsmethode soll eingesetzt werden, um den Pulverbeschichtungsprozess zu revolutionieren. Durch modellbasierte Modifikation des bekannten Prozesses soll nun eine hoch-optimierte Beschichtungsanlage entwickelt werden, deren Kernstück eine partikelladungsoptimierende Pistole ist und deren Prozessparameter, sowie Prozessführung erstmals optimal auf verschiedene Substratgeometrien anpassbar sind.
