Abstract (Deutsch)	This project aims to demonstrate laser rangefinder (LRF) technology operating at 2µm wavelength and to leverage research of the Photonic Systems Laboratory at EPFL on thulium doped fiber lasers towards industrial applications. The 2µm wavelength offers good atmospheric transparency and eye safety.
