Abstract (German)

Time and cost pressure are constantly increasing in hospitals. This fact conflicts with request for a high patient safety. Assistant monitoring systems bear the potential to reduce workload and increase patient safety at the same time. The content of this research project is the development of a self-coordinating and distributed sensor network for patient monitoring in hospitals.
