Abstract (German)

ICU-Cockpit is an integrated IT platform for patient monitoring and therapy support in intensive care medicine. With the proposed subproject the data mining framework will be completed with algorithms for data preparation, especially artifact detection and elimination. Furthermore instruments for computation of time-varying interdependence between parameters will be developed. ICU Cockpit opens enormous potentials for future scientific evidence. #Big data# methods like data mining and cognitive computing have the potential to discover previously unknown factors in the complex pathophysiology of severe diseases as targets for treatment in critically ill patients.
