Feasibility study: Development of a high pressure resonant network plasma source for particle treatment
Abstract
(German)
A novel plasma source based on a resonant network antenna will be developed for plasma treatment of powders in the range from 10 mbar to 100 mbar and, if possible, up towards atmospheric pressure. Compared to existing plasma sources (RF inductive sources and Dielectric Barrier Discharges), the new source will allow faster processing, higher power densities, larger volume, and improved scalability for large industrial applications.
