Abstract (German)

Inositec#s proprietary platform of small molecules have been derived from a natural compound and engineered for therapeutic potential. The present project aims to establish pre-clinical proof-of-concept for a novel inhibitor of vascular calcification for chronic kidney disease patients. Vascular calcification is a common consequence of renal insufficiency leading to cardiovascular disease for which there are currently no approved treatments.
