Abstract (German)	Hypoxia-related stress affects the aging of skin. Naturally occurring substances from microalgae are to be\|used to develop innovative skin-care products. A well-controlled biotechnological process to produce\|microalgal biomass of planned composition and a novel cell-based assay will be developed. Active substances\|will then be extracted by a proprietary method, extensively tested, and formulated into an anti-aging product\|to be positioned in the luxury cosmetic market segment.
