The goal of the OCTO+ project is to develop a smart manufacturing Octopus cluster platform allowing for the depositions of thin films on both sides of a substrate without any vacuum break nor substrate flipping. The target is to apply the developed innovative reactor concepts for the manufacturing of silicon heterojunction solar cells, enabling for decreased costs and footprint, and to improved device performance and interfaces control.
