This project aims at improving the mechanical properties of micromechanical parts fabricated using UV-LIGA technology by developing a NiFe alloy combined with an optimized heat treatment. The effect of the thermal treatment on stress relaxation, yield strength and ultimate tensile strength will be analyzed. The innovation consists on improving the mechanical properties of NiFe springs vs. Ni ones by decreasing stress relaxation by at least a factor of 2.
