We develop a new X-ray diffraction instrument for room temperature protein crystallography combining ultrasonic acoustic levitation with a high frame rate pixel array detector and crystal and liquid droplet ejector. This high throughput and high efficiency atomic-resolution crystallography method has the potential to significantly accelerate the structural anysls of biomolecules and structure-based drug developments.

We develop a new X-ray diffraction instrument for room temperature protein crystallography combining ultrasonic acoustic levitation with a high frame rate pixel array detector and crystal and liquid droplet ejector. This high throughput and high efficiency atomic-resolution crystallography method has the potential to significantly accelerate the structural anysls of biomolecules and structure-based drug developments.
