Next Generation Sweat Analysis Smart Patch

Abstract (Deutsch)

Kenzen have developed biosensor patches for analysis of biomarkers in sweat, indicative of health conditions including electrolyte imbalance and stress, focusing on athletes. Kenzen intends to move from sports to wellness applications where sweat rate and volume are low. Kenzens existing system and other technologies available rely on passive sweat collection. This requires a novel fluidic active sweat collection and data processing method which will be tested using a newly-developed innovative artificial skin model as part of this project.
