The clinical outcome of many refractive surgeries is sub-optimal. To improve patients vision, typically after cataract surgeries, Optimo Medical develops a planning solution to predict the outcome of refractive interventions based on patient-specific biomechanical simulations. The goal of the project is to develop methods to provide clinicians with the optimal treatment parameters for his patients. The proposed solution should allow full integration of the Optimeyes planning solution within the clinical workflow and therefore allow Optimo Medical to acquired a strong position on the market. Three clinical scenarios will be considered in this project; cataract surgery, LASIK correction of myopia and treatment of keratoconus.
