Abstract
(English)
CAMICRON project objective is to define experimental and modelling frameworks to understand and possibly control the caking phenomena, i.e. the fast generation of solid crusts on jet mill walls occurring during some specific milling processes. The project roadmap is: definition of an experimental set-up and realization of an extensive experimental campaign on caking phenomena; analysis and simulation of particle-particle and particle-wall interactions; analysis and simulation of near-wall particle-fluid interactions; identification of possible strategies for caking mitigation.
