Abstract (Deutsch)	Infusion pumps are an important element in modern medicine. All existing infusion pumps\|are based on an open loop control without measuring the real flow because of the lack of\|adequate sensing technology. False alarms and missed errors during infusion occur daily\|and cause therapy complications and unnecessary stress to patients and staff all over the\|world. This project aims at developing an infusion controller using sensor technology to\|detect failures.
