Abstract (German)

Cutting tools represent a key element in all machining operations. The technical developments in this field have been characterised by a continuous improvement of materials, issuing more and more specialized grades. The company Lamina has developed its own market strategy based on reducing the number of grades and developing specialised coatings. In this project, we would like to optimize the coating-tool interface in order to increase to tool performance. /
