We aim at breakthroughs in fibre distributed sensing by providing longer reach in pipeline and power monitoring (market development), faster acquisition for subsea structure fatigue monitoring (market enabler) and novel sensing technique for reservoir management (new market). This is achieved by 2 innovations: an arbitrary waveform generator enabling time-frequency codes and a new fibre characterization method. The 3 years project should generate >6MCHF before 2020.
