A novel, localized approach to immune checkpoint modulation for the therapy of cancer
Abstract
(German)
The pathophysiology of chronic inflammation and epithelial cancer are casuatively linked. Interleukin (IL)-23 and IL-23 receptor (IL23R) expressing cells are heavily implicated in the development of various malignancies. In this project the potential of a bispecific antibody fragment specifically depleting IL23R expressing cells shall be evaluated to reactivate the host anti-cancer immune response.
