REORGANIZE-AF: Tracking the organization within persistent atrial fibrillation to improve procedural outcome of ablation
Abstract
(German)
REORGANIZE-AF is a prospective multicenter study that proposes to validate and implement a set of tools based on surface ECG and intracardiac electrograms (EGM), both for the screening of best candidates with persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) to improve success of ablation (i.e. long-term maintenance of sinus rhythm), and for the guidance of ablation during procedures by tracking the efficiency of radiofrequency applications towards structures critical to AF maintenance.
